Supportive Care Services Provided
We provide compassionate, coordinated palliative care support across the Timiskaming District. Timiskaming Hospice Palliative Care services are designed to support patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers at every stage of the journey.
We are continuously developing new programs based on the needs of our communities.
Hospice Suite Coordination
We coordinate access to Residential Hospice Suites across our partner hospitals.
This includes:

Supporting referrals and intake

Coordinating admissions and transitions

Working alongside healthcare teams and families to ensure a smooth, dignified experience
Volunteer Visiting Support
Our trained volunteers provide compassionate, non-clinical support to patients and families.
Support may include:

Companionship and presence

Emotional support

Respite for caregivers
Volunteer visits are arranged in collaboration with healthcare teams.
Intake & Assessment Support
