ABOUT US
Timiskaming Hospice Palliative Care was established in 1996 as a charitable, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families throughout the Timiskaming region. For nearly 30 years, we have provided compassionate care, education, and support to those facing serious illness, caregiving responsibilities, grief, and loss.
We believe care should honour the whole person, including their values, culture, beliefs, relationships, and choices. Our approach is grounded in respect, consent, collaboration, and compassion.
We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where privacy, trust, dignity, and individual choice are respected at every stage of the journey.

Our Mission
To enhance quality of life for individuals living with serious illness and to support families, caregivers, and communities through compassionate care, education, advocacy, and connection.
HOW WE WORK
We work alongside individuals, families, healthcare providers, volunteers, and community partners to support care that reflects the needs and wishes of each person.
Our role is to complement medical care by offering presence, guidance, and connection during times of illness, caregiving, and loss.
We recognize that every person's journey is unique and strive to provide support that reflects their goals, values, and preferences.
